Historically, Italy has always played an important role for WISTEMA and is therefore a key strategic market for us. In order to maintain our market share and increase our activities, our colleague Bastian Gorenflo has accepted the challenge to open our new office in the historic city of Florence.

Bastian joined the WISTEMA family in April 2009 and is in charge of the fine and specialty chemicals division. With his fluent Italian, he is the perfect fit. Our product portfolio in Italy is broad, with a focus on sustainable products. One of our most important strategic alliances is the long-standing partnership with the Randi Group, which produces tartaric acid and its derivatives, as well as bioethanol and grape seed oil.
