On October 18, 2024, Galvachem GmbH was officially merged into WISTEMA GmbH. With this step, WISTEMA GmbH consolidates its position as a leading company in the chemicals trading sector and expands its portfolio with valuable product and service offerings from the former Galvachem GmbH.

Galvachem, originally founded in 1983 as Deca-Chemie GmbH and operating under its current name since 1989, has established itself as a reliable partner in the chemical industry and is characterized by an extensive product portfolio that includes applications in the food, animal feed, plastics, coatings and paints industries. Products in demand include acetic and phosphoric acids, polyethylene glycols and ammonium chloride, supplemented by specialties such as 4-methoxybenzylamine.
